Prayer Focus

The Most High, Lord of heaven and earth, infinitely elevated above the highest creature
Subject to none, influenced by none, absolutely independent
Doing as He pleases, only as He pleases and always as He pleases
None can thwart Him, none can hinder Him
Unrivaled in majesty, unlimited in power, unaffected by anything outside Himself
There never was a time when God was not there; never will there come a time when He shall cease to be. God has neither evolved, grown, nor improved. All that He is today, He has ever been, and ever will be. I the LORD do not change. (Mal.3:6)
The sum of all moral excellency; absolute purity, undefiled by even the shadow of sin, glorious in holiness. There is such an absolute perfection in God’s nature and being that nothing is lacking in it or defective in it, and nothing can be added to it to make it better.
Before man can work he must have both tools and materials, but God began with nothing, and by His word alone out of nothing made all things.
All God’s work is done in perfect wisdom and nothing he does could be done better.
His love is without limit. There is a depth to it which none can fathom; there is a height to it none can scale
His wisdom is illimitable, for He knows everything of the past, present and future.

Spiritual Life: Time to read and pray, spiritual growth, fellowship with local Christians, good links with sending churches & prayer supporters, integrity, reliability, consistency, purity, protection from enemies, health of both body and soul
Relationships: Family, other Christians, team members & church leaders, with local church, with sending church, new believers being discipled, those being equipped to lead, those in authority
Communication: Progress in language study, adaptation to culture, customs & people, clarity & power in preaching & teaching, involvement with those hearing the message
Evangelism: Boldness & wisdom, the opening of spiritually blind eyes, the establishment of Christ’s church
Their Country: Favor with those in authority, the political situation, religious freedom, openness to the Gospel, visa renewal

Church members under physical affliction
Members caring for ailing or aging loved ones
Safety for those from our church in the military
God’s protection & provision for our widows & widowers
Unemployed, under-employed or in financial difficulty
Those with special needs & those who care for them
Wisdom for our deacons in administering benevolent funds
Prospering of our church families in their work
Continuing financial provision for our church
Favor with neighbors and our community
Financial provision for the ARBCA general fund
Financial provision for Geneva Academy and increased enrollment
Persecuted Christians throughout the world who suffer imprisonment, beating, kidnapping, slavery, rape, destruction of church buildings, denied food or medicine, or education, or many who become refugees
Christians in poor countries to increasingly learn to tithe and trust God to meet their needs
Our nation and our national, state and local leaders, and all those in authority, that we may be able to continue to live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

All the kingdoms of this worlds belong to God
He created and sustains all by the word of His power
He controls all His creatures and all their actions
There are no accidents, no loose ends, no independent agencies outside His control
He does His will in the armies of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth
He has power over death, sin temptation, Satan
God alone is our savior and not we ourselves
